Karen Cox, CFP®, MBA
Karen graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977 and joined Harris Corporation, where she held positions of increasing responsibility in finance and accounting from 1977 to 2002. In 1986, she earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Florida Tech. In 2002, she left her position as Accounting Supervisor for North American operations at Harris to pursue a career in financial planning. In 2003, she completed the Certificate in Financial Planning program at Florida Tech and passed the Certified Financial Planner national exam. She joined Mary Baldwin in October 2003 in offering fee-only financial planning.
Karen is a member of the National Association of Professional Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and the Financial Planning Association (FPA). In order to stay current with financial matters, she earns at least 30 hours of continuing education each year.
She has served on the Board of Directors of the Melbourne Art Festival and has been actively involved in planning this annual event since 2000.
